Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Stockport, within the Adoption Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The role is 3 days a week based in Unity House, Swinton, Salford.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To act as a family finder for children who may have a plan of adoption including tracking progress, creating profiles, supporting with the writing of CPRs, family finding, shortlisting alongside the child's social worker and preparing matching paperwork
- To undertake some initial visits or Stage 1 assessments for prospective adopters
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
