Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Havering, within the Adoption Team.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 - £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Contribute to the delivery of an effective Adoption Support Service as part of a social work team, improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Manage caseloads of adoption families in need of specialist support utilizing specialist knowledge, training, and therapeutic skills to provide or source appropriate interventions.
- Undertaken comprehensive adoption support plans and ensure delivery of the actions agreed within the plans
- Apply for funding from ASF and other bodies to enable identified support packages to be delivered
- Work with colleagues across Adopt London East to ensure adopters in need of support are identified and that all professionals work together to provide a unified service
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Adoption experience is required
