Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Dudley, within the Step-Down Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £22.24 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To submit panel reports when required for funding agreement.
- Undertake person-centred assessments
- Develop care plans and panel reports for both domiciliary care and residential/nursing placements.
- To participate within a duty team framework.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Social work experience of working with vulnerable adults and their carers within a statutory sector is essential
- Direct experience of working with adults, especially those from different racial & cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory social work legislation.
- Knowledge of the issues relating to the well-being of service users covering a wide range of clients
- Ability to prioritise and manage casework, communicate effectively with client groups & professionals in order to assess client needs.
- Must be a car driver
