Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a permanent role for a Social Work Family Court Advisor to work full-time based in Plymouth, within the Public Law Team.

The salary for this permanent Family Court Advisor job is £38,974 - £43,459 per annum.

Duties:

  • Work flexibly whether this is in court, at home, in the office or of course, with children and families and provide the technology to enable this
  • Working directly with vulnerable children and families, to advise the family courts on the best course of action for the child or young person
  • Provide case analysis and recommendations to the court
  • Work with parents, relatives, local authorities and the courts, and demonstrate your understanding of what the child needs, wants and feels

Requirements of the Family Court Advisor:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Experience of working with highly vulnerable children and families
  • Resilient and organised
  • Can work proportionately
  • Has strong, intuitive IT skills
  • Is an effective verbal and written communicator
  • A full driving licence
  • Be an expert in safeguarding, child engagement, inter-agency working, case analysis, planning and recording
