Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Service Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £31.26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role is a 3-6 month contract.
Job Summary:
- To assess the needs of disabled adults/older people/children and young people.
- To devise and implement individual programme plans/remedial action plans to improve and maintain independence in all the activities of daily living where appropriate.
- To offer support and advice to carers in relation to the management of disabilities.
- To arrange for the provision of services to disabled adults/older people/children and young people, particularly equipment for daily living and home adaptations (including domicillary services) within the policy framework determined by Social Services Committee.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
