Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work as a Deputy Team Manager based in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £36 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced, qualified and registered Occupational Therapist to be the first point of contact for team members; providing support, advice and guidance.
- To assist in the professional management and leadership of the team; ensuring an effective response to occupational therapy referrals. To hold and manage complex cases on an individual basis.
- To escalate matters to the Service Manager where appropriate.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Ability to manage and deal effectively with conflict
- Ability to lead and motivate others and supervise staff
- Plan and organise own workload, delegate where appropriate and achieve deadlines when shifting priorities
- Must be a car driver
