Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Sutton on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Promote social change, problem solving in human relationships and the empowerment of people across the life course.
- Ensure that vulnerable adults and children are safeguarded.
- Intervene with children and adults, individual and families and will work alongside other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Apply social and medical clinical reasoning, analyse complex information, identify and assess risk, form professional judgments and plans to support the required outcomes.
- Promoting and achieving the maximum potential levels of safe independence in all aspects of daily living, to enable the individual to live a full life within their environment and community.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience
