Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work within a Community Setting in Reading on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
This role is offering an excellent pay rate of £32-£35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role will be on an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To support young adults entering adulthood and promote independence
- To support carers and young people's families.
- To provide the highest standard of care and commitment to supporting young people with disabilities in ensuring that as a transition service we are contributing to the outcomes set in 'The Care Act', 'The Children & Families Act' and related Guidance
- To work effectively with partnership agencies including health and education to ensure that all agencies are working towards the same outcomes for young people and contribute to Education, Health and Care plans as appropriate
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
