Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Reablement Physiotherapist to work part-time in Ampthill in a Step Up/Down Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £26 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. This role is 18.5 hours a week.
Duties:
- Working within the Reablement Team and the Step Up Down Units.
- Provide up to 6 weeks support to people, to enable them to return home and maximise their independence and safety. You will work as part of an integrated multi - disciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Coordinators and Support Workers.
- Promote the independence of adults and older people in need of community care services and their carers by assessing their needs, promoting enablement and reablement.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Previous NHS experience
