Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Care Occupational Therapist to work in a Reablement Team based in Ampthill on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £29.88 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Working within the Reablement team which includes Step Up Down Units.
- The teams aim is to provide up to 6 weeks support for people to maximise their independence and safety to enable them to return home.
- The team's role will be to promote the independence of adults and older people in need of community care services and their carers by assessing their needs, promoting enablement and reablement.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Must be a car driver
