The hourly rate is £25.25 PAYE or £31.63 umbrella per hour.
As a dedicated Sessional Tutor, you'll craft and deliver top-notch, accredited programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners. Your mission? Key Duties of the Sessional Tutor:
Design and implement engaging learning initiatives, incorporating essential elements like English, maths, and ICT.
Conduct thorough assessments to inform personalized teaching strategies.
Set ambitious yet achievable goals, nurturing individual growth and development.
Provide ongoing support, feedback, and guidance to learners.
Maintain meticulous records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Offer invaluable Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to learners throughout their educational journey.
Prepare learners for examinations and contribute to internal quality assurance processes.
Adapt to evolving needs and actively participate in professional development activities.
Sessional Tutor Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: Diploma in teaching of adults in the further education sector (DTTLS level 5 qualification) or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar tutoring role.
Compliance: Valid right-to-work documentation and references covering the past 5 years.
Travel: Possession of a clean UK driving license for independent commuting.
Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
