Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Service based in South West of England, within the Children in Need Team.
The pay rate for this locum Service Manager job is £425 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 12-month contract.
Duties of the Service Manager:
- This role will cover both safeguarding (CIN, CP, CIC), short breaks fostering and early help provision for children and young people with a disability in Gloucestershire
- Supporting the team managers to ensure work in undertaken to deliver quality services for children with disabilities
- Monitoring performance
- Oversight of audit actions
- Implementing improvement plans
- Ensuring regulatory requirements are met for the fostering service
- Chairing of joint funding panels
- Monitoring SENDIST tribunal work
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Qualified HCPC registered Social Worker
- Management experience is essential.
- Previous experience in the management and improvement of disabled children's teams
