Sanctuary Social Care has permanent vacancy for a Senior Social Worker to work full-time based in Blackpool, within the Supporting Our Children Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this permanent Senior Social Worker role is £38,813 - £42,683 per annum.
Duties of the Senior Social Worker:
- To be responsible for providing a high-quality service to Our Children.
- To hold a small caseload of proceedings whilst also supporting, mentoring and coaching less experienced staff through this area of work.
- To look at the longer term plans for our children considering whether it is appropriate to seek discharge, sgo or maintain a longer term placement.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- experienced in court proceedings and working with families subject to care proceedings.
