Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Senior Social Worker to work full-time based in Wigston, Leicestershire - within the First Response & Domestic Abuse Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker role is £27 - £34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties of the Senior Social Worker:
- To be responsible for the triage actions of domestic abuse referrals, contacting children and professionals to make threshold decisions.
- To attend MARAC.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- A DBS
- Police vetting is also required
