Duties:
- A leadership role within the team that supports the Assistant Service Manager and Service Manager to lead and line manage the team and ensure the delivery of a strengths-based, person-centred service for adults with social care needs and their carers
- Providing regular formal supervision to Social Workers and Social Care Assessors
- Co-ordination, oversight and clear decision making in managing incoming work and allocation is essential to this role
- Be a safeguarding adults manager (SAM) or willing to train as part of this role
- Continuously seek better value for money while meeting resident’s outcomes at lower cost
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK
