Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Practitioner to work full-time within a Child Protection Team based in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner job is £34.33 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Undertake CP/CIN/CLA visits
- Court work
- Attending and chairing core group meetings, cin meetings and professionals meetings
- Undertaking child protection investigations, undertaking child and family assessments and missing interviews
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Current Social Work England registration
- Excellent reporting writing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
