Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for two Senior Practitioners to work full-time based in Gloucester, within the Acute Hospital Team. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for these locum Senior Practitioner roles is paying £38.00 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Gloucestershire County Council Adult Social Care is on an exciting innovation journey, working towards a three-conversation model; which re-emphasises a focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.
Duties of the Senior Practitioners:
- To supervise and co-work cases with both qualified Social Workers and unqualified staff
- Undertaking professional supervision, advising practice on more complex case work and focusing on practice quality including shadowing Social Workers and monitoring assessments
- Working autonomously and with regular supervision, however there is an expectation of team working and supporting across the general hospitals (in Cheltenham and Gloucester) at times of increased demand
Requirements of the Senior Practitioners:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults' services
- Must have experience of working in a hospital setting
- Must be a car driver
