Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Area Manager to work full-time within Children's Services in Hackney. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Area Manager job is £400 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties of the Senior Category Manager:
To provide leadership and influence in best procurement practice to the Council's Housing Asset Management Service. The role will report to Category Lead, Construction and Environment and a dotted reporting line to the Head of Property and Asset Management. The role will focus mainly on the procurement of refurbishment and maintenance contracts, including the development and delivery of new elemental measured term contracts and a framework agreement for maintenance and capital planned works.
Requirements of the Area Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working in a similar role
- Must have excellent communication and project management skills and be a self-starter.
