Position: Paramedic.

Salary: £28,407 up to £34,581 per year.

Summary: You will participate in a structured programme to properly integrate and support paramedics into the ambulance service workplace, enabling time to consistently apply academic knowledge, skills and placement experience into confident practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Paramedical Sciences. 
  • Full valid driving license and 12 months of recent driving experience.
  • IELTS with an overall score of at least 7 with no element below 6.5

            (If you have been educated in English language you may be eligible to start work without the IELTS exam.)

Clinical Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Carry out paramedic duties as part of an operational crew, working within the scope of practice,
  • Assist in delivering a flexible ambulance service response.
  • Attend patients in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings.
  • Following SCAS clinical policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Reduce inappropriate demand for emergency services by referring patients to appropriate health and social care agencies.
  • Record observations and findings appropriately including adverse incidents and Safeguarding issues, ensuring all records are kept confidential.
  • Work as an effective member of a multi-professional team, giving support to non-registered staff as required.
