Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 5 Covid Vaccination Registered Nurse to work in Cambridge. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of general nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Registered Nurse role is £20.21 per hour (assignment rate).
Summary:
- The immuniser will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of vaccinations. The post holder will be responsible for administering the vaccine to citizens within a team of staff working in a pod structure as part of the mass vaccination delivery model.
In particular the post holder will be responsible for:
- Configuration of their vaccination station.
- Administration of the vaccine.
- Disposal of clinical waste and change of PPE as per national guidelines.
- Adherence to infection control practices between individuals.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in general nursing
- Active NMC Registration as a registered general nurse
- Recent UK Nursing experience
- Required to work: Shift patterns are between 6:45am and 18:00pm, 7days per week.
