Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Band 6 Radiopharmaceuticals Radiographer to work based in Bristol.
The pay rate for this locum Radiographer job is £26-£27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Receipt, storage, and disposal of radioactive and non-radioactive products.
- Preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals (IV, intradermal, subcutaneous, inhalation, and ingestion according to local DRLs)
- Explanation of the procedure, consent and questionnaire, ID/pregnancy checks.
- Venepuncture, cannulation, blood sampling, and breast injections.
- Patient positioning and image acquisition (planar imaging, SPECT, SPECT/CT, and diagnostic CT).
- Image processing and manipulation (inc. data transfer)
Requirements of the Radiographer:
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of two years post graduate Radiography experience.
- Degree or equivalent in Radiography.
