Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Practice Learning officer to work full-time in an office-based role in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Quality Assurance Practice Learning officer job is £400 per day (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Practice Learning officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Experienced practitioner with significant management experience to team manager level
- Experienced in auditing case files and coaching staff to develop their practice in at least three of the follows areas assessment/children in need and child protection practice/children in care/pre-proceedings and care proceedings/care leavers/children with SEND /adolescent safeguarding/fostering/adoption/connected carers/private fostering
- A thorough understanding of what good practice is and how this can be reflected in case files
- Experience of developing audit practice including direct observation of practice
