Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Podiatrist to work full-time in Brent. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of podiatry and be registered on the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Podiatrist job is to £25 - £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individualized care programmers for patients with a wide variety of Clinical needs including vascular problems, diabetes, rheumatology.
- To perform an in-depth assessment of the diabetic/high-risk foot including, providing a comprehensive annual review assessment to including sensory, vascular analysis (ABPI's) and biomechanical assessment.
- To have the ability to use the decision making process to identify when patients require the intervention of other professional and/or departmental specialist areas by following agreed departmental referral pathways e.g. acute wound care/biomechanics
Requirements of the Podiatrist:
- Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
- Current HCPC registration
- Experience as a podiatrist within the NHS
- Experience within general podiatry wound care
