Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Placement Officer to work full-time within an Access to Resources Team based in Southwark. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Placement Officer job is £24.90 per hour (Assignment rate).
Summary:
- The service sources and matches suitable placements for all children and young people in Southwark who need: Foster Care, Residential Care or Semi-Independent provision. It liaises with social work teams to ensure sufficient quality of placement referrals and also negotiates and brokers the fees for each placement.
Requirements of the Placement Officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Experience in a Placements Setting or similar
