Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to work full-time in Orpington. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist job is £25 to £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a contract from 04.01.2021 - Ongoing. Working 3 days per week, for example, 8am-4pm but times and days can be flexible Monday-Friday.
Working alongside other members of Falls Prevention team to assess and treat those who fall.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist Occupational Therapist
- 2 years experience
- Must be a car driver
- Experience of working clinically with older people and in the community, previous experience of working in falls prevention
- Vestibular experience is desirable
- Be a highly skilled therapist who is able to assess and treat people who fall, investigating the causes, assessing the physical needs and creating intervention programmes with the person to reduce their risk of further falls
