Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Woolwich, within the Falls Prevention Team.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £28-£29 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Maintain own patient caseload.
- Undertake patient assessment using holistic multifactorial falls assessment and standardised assessment tools.
- Work with the wider multidisciplinary team to devise a holistic falls prevention care plan and ensure that all health and social needs are met in order to reduce the risk of falls.
- Determine clinical diagnoses, provide appropriate treatments, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner working without direct supervision but with advice and support from Band 7 physiotherapists and other team colleagues.
- Recommend appropriate interventions to promote independence and safety.
- Provide physiotherapy assessment as an autonomous and lone practitioner to patients utilising effective clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice to develop individual care plans.
- Maintain effective multidisciplinary communications in order to ensure that treatment goals are met, and a high-quality service is provided to patients.
- Ensure safe, appropriate, and effective provision, installation, and demonstration of equipment and further develop knowledge of minor/major adaptation provision and non-stock equipment availability and use.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
- Recent post-qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist.
