Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to work full-time within a Temporary Alternative Discharge Destination (TADD) Team based in Sutton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £25 - £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Summary:
- As post holder of this role you will be working within the TADD team which includes rehabilitation beds in 2 care homes. These beds will provide an alternative interim destination for patients discharged from hospital but they are unable to return to their planned discharge destination due to testing positive for Covid whilst in the acute.
- You will be expected to undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner including assessing and treating complex patients.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Essential experience in rehabilitation
- Experience of complex discharge planning and case management.
