Pharmacist Pay Rate: £30 - £37 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties:

  • Act as a role model and expert practitioner for staff, particularly in areas of service improvement and change management, with a focus on developing and deploying the Trust Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) solution.
  • To support complex clinical and service change within the organisation by engaging and supporting the delivery of digitally enabled medicines management transformation as part of the Digital Medicines Team program of work.
  • To take a senior clinical role within the delivery of ePMA functionality within the Trust and to support change as a result; ensuring that the organisation meets its local and national commitments in respect of ePMA. This includes delivery of a safe, cohesive digital solution across acute, community and health services.
  • Ensure communication is maintained between stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation and will ensure that organisational procedures are adhered to and that objectives are identified and met, as well as facilitating the identification and realisation of benefits.

Requirements of the Pharmacist:

  • GPHC Registration
  • Previous experience within a UK based NHS Pharmacy setting
  • Experience of working with electronic prescribing and administration systems
  • NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacist qualification
