Sanctuary Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Practitioner to join our client's highly skilled team on a full-time basis. This role requires experience in minor orthopaedics, with training available for major orthopaedics.

The facility boasts 76 beds, 5 operating theatres, and the only private hospital in the South West with an Intensive Care Unit. It has been providing excellent care and expertise in a supportive and progressive environment for over 32 years.

Role Overview:

They are looking for a Registered Nurse or ODP with Orthopaedic Scrub experience. This is a fantastic chance to expand your knowledge and experience.

The 5 operating theatres are busy throughout the day, offering a diverse workload, making this theatre department a dynamic place to work.

They prefer their theatre staff to be as multi-skilled as possible, so ideally, you will be able to work across scrub, anaesthetics, and/or recovery. However, many of their staff specialise in one or two areas. Most importantly, their theatre staff are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are eager to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision.

This is a full-time role covering 37.5 hours a week, working on a rota with 1 in 3 weekends.

Who They’re Looking For:

  • NMC/HCPC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Experience in minor orthopaedics, with training for major orthopaedics available
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
  • Strong communication skills
  • Assisting qualification, teaching qualification desirable
  • Competent with Total Hip and Total Knee replacement surgeries
