Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Croydon on a full-time basis.

The pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:

  • Moving & Handling reviews for people that have high-level needs and complex packages of care
  • Be responsible for carrying out occupational therapy good conversations and reviews to determine the most appropriate means of intervention
  • Help people identify their strengths, gifts, and abilities and those of their families, friends, and communities
  • Also focus on the person’s wellbeing to deliver improved functional outcomes for people
  • Assess and review people with high-level care and support needs, through analysis and clinical reasoning you will work with the person and their families to prioritise the outcomes that are important to them
  • Work alongside people who require physical assistance to perform activities of daily living
  • Carry out good conversations to identify needs, review existing support arrangements to identify the most appropriate interventions that deliver improved outcomes for the person that increase their sense of wellbeing and dignity

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
