Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Reablement Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Fareham, Hampshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Due to the nature of the service, there is an expectation to work across 7 days.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Experience with reablement type work and moving and handling
- Be able to demonstrate effective assessment and treatment planning skills, goal setting and, work in a fast pace community service.
- Must be able to demonstrate strengths-based approach to provide advice and information for clients to problem solve their own needs and make informed decisions on their Reablement journey.
- Have excellent communication, inter-personal and team player skills.
- Previous experience in a Reablement or Rehabilitation setting would be advantageous but not essential.
