Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to work based in Barking and Dagenham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapists job is £28 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist/ Physiotherapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Must have acute medicine experience or frailty experience
- Own Car for travel
- Working with frail/ elderly patients
- Flexible and adaptable
- Recommendation of care packages
- Recommendation of rehab needs
- Recommendation of equipment for ADL's and mobility
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Experience in managing a community caseload
- 2 years previous experience
