Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to work based in Basingstoke – Hampshire.
The pay rate for this locum Community Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist job is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 5-month contract.
Duties:
- This post is as part of the community therapy team (OTs, Physios, Rehab Assistants) providing a rehab service to patients in North Hampshire treating a range of problems related to Elderly care, Falls, Orthopaedic, long-term conditions and Palliative care.
- The flexible worker will be responsible for managing their own caseload.
- Work effectively within the ICT multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and prevent unnecessary admission to hospital or long-term care, to promote functional independence and to facilitate early discharge from hospital.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist//Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of two years post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist.
- Must drive.
- Previous community experience is preferred.
- Good IT skills are required as electronic patient records are used. Previous use of RIO is preferable.
