Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Neurology Occupational Therapist to work based in Folkestone, within the Intermediate Care Team.
The pay rate for this locum Neurology Occupational Therapist job is £28-£29 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- To facilitate the Early Supported Discharge (ESD) Pathway for stroke patients and patients on the Stroke Pathway.
- To promote self-management of long-term Neurological conditions implementing personalised care plans to avoid crisis.
- To provide clinical leadership, including appraisals, supervision, and training of junior staff, including Neuro Technicians, and students.
Requirements of the Neurology Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least two years of post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
