Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Mansfield.
The pay rate for this locum Community Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month ongoing contract.

Main Duties:
- To provide specialist OT assessment to people referred to the Community Therapy Service.
- To work in a variety of community settings carrying out assessment, goal setting, implementing treatment programmes for clients with complex problems/needs.
- Evaluating treatment programmes in conjunction with other health and social care staff.
- To support patients/clients to improve or maintain their level of independence and quality of life.
- To be responsible for planning safe transfers of care.
- Promote an understanding of relevant risk assessments and appropriate interventions in the wider health & social care community
Requirements of the Community Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy/HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Occupational Therapy experience either pre or post qualification
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle
