Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work full time based in Bristol, within the Discharge to Assess/Community Team.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25.00 - £26.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Duties:
- Working with people who are recovering from a wide range of clinical issues including Musculoskeletal Disorders, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Medicine & Respiratory Medicine, Older People's Rehab, Cardiac Surgery, General Surgery & Critical Care, Long Covid and Stroke
- Work in collaboration with other physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation and reablement workers along with many other professionals from Sirona, the local authority and local charities
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Experience of community working
