The pay rate for this locum Paramedic role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:
- Have clinical responsibility for assessment and treatment planning for adults referred from community as well as active case finding within the Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit and hospital wards
- Work autonomously and in collaboration with all members of the Health and Care team to deliver a safe, comprehensive and effective service including assessment, care planning, implementation of required care and review of care provision
- Work with individual patients, their carers and their families, involving them in decision making about their care and to develop their own health and care plans
- Supervise junior colleagues and assistants
- Assist in the overall development of integrated care pathways within Sutton Health and Care
- Collaborate with colleagues across Sutton Health and Care and within the wider health and social care network to optimise patient journey, care, wellbeing and outcomes
- Participate in flexible working patterns covering extended hours across a seven day service
Requirements of the Paramedic:
- Qualified as a Paramedic
- A broad clinical knowledge base, with experience working with individuals with a variety of different health conditions
- GPHC registered
- Recent UK experience working as a Paramedic
