Location: Swindon

Contract Type: Ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £26 - £31 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift Pattern: Full time. Within the team, we work on a flexible working pattern within the multi-disciplinary team to provide cover for a core day 08:00 am - 20:00 pm, Monday - Friday, and 10:00 am - 18:00 pm. Saturday – Sunday and Bank Holidays. The flexible working patterns allows team members to work hours flexibly and for days off during the week.

Requirements of the CAMHS Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience as a Band 6, or equivalent, Mental Health professional
  • Understanding and experience of working with children and young people with a wide range of mental health needs or relevant Mental Health experience
  • Experience of and commitment to working in a multiagency setting working in partnership with a range of health, social care and education professionals
  • Experience of working with young adults or young people or experience of working in a community setting
  • Experience of care coordination/role of Lead Professional
  • Ability to carry out assessments and psycho-social Interventions
  • Car driver
