Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Clinical Lead to work within our client's Mental Health Services. 

Main Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of a high-quality mental health service, focusing on achieving robust outcomes. Taking a lead role in maintaining and enhancing clinical standards, including overseeing audit activities and driving strategies for continuous improvement. Leading the launch and delivery of innovative clinical services to our clients through streamlined business processes and procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the principal clinical specialist in mental health service delivery.
  • Develop clinical guidelines to ensure the safe and standardised assessment and treatment of patients with mental health issues.
  • Provide clinical training, audit, and support to ensure team confidence and compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Offer adequate clinical support through individual and group supervision for the clinical staff.
  • Act as the primary point of clinical support for risk escalation within the service.
  • Lead clinical audits, interpret data, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate findings to the management team.
  • Ensure achievement of clinical service KPIs and support areas for clinical development.
  • Assist in investigating clinical complaints or competency issues.
  • Provide support to the mental health duty team as needed, including clinical queries and report reviews.
  • Participate in research projects within the service.
  • Contribute clinical insights to the development of new services and solutions.
  • Manage Third-Party Mental Health Partners to ensure UK-wide coverage.
  • Develop and implement new clinical initiatives to maintain leadership in mental health services.
  • Contribute clinically to business bids and existing projects.
  • Chair specialist working groups as required.
  • Collaborate with the Client Relations and Business Development Team to address client queries and support bids related to the Mental Health Service.
  • Contribute to the Company Clinical Management Team's objectives and ensure smooth day-to-day clinical service delivery.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required.

Person Specification:

Education and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (E)
  • Minimum 5 years of Mental Health experience, including virtual and face-to-face treatment (E)
  • Full BABCP accreditation (E)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (E)
  • BABCP Supervisors accreditation (E)
  • Mental Health Core Profession (E)

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience in primary care mental health setting (E)
  • Experience in the Corporate Market (D)
  • Experience delivering Clinical supervision (E)
  • Experience in risk management (E)
  • Experience in data collection and interpretation (E)
  • Experience in service audit and development (E)
  • Proficiency in IT, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (E)
