Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Safeguarding Lead to work full-time in Peterborough, within the Adults Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Safeguarding Lead job is £30 - £34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Undertake MCA's jointly with other unqualified workers and whilst on Duty for cases in Transition Reviews
- To complete regular Adult Social Care Assessments and Reviews
- Undertake a DOLs lead for the Transition Team- progressing work with other and progress any CoP work ( detailed information , advice and support available to progress that also the DOLS Team is available to given advice and support if and when required)
Requirements of the Safeguarding Lead:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Safeguarding experience is essential
