Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Lead Practitioner to work full-time within an Adults Integrated Care Team in Barnet. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Lead Practitioner job is £36 - £39 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Purpose of the post:
- Under the direction of a Team Leader and operating within multidisciplinary teams act as the practice and professional lead providing clear and responsive practice leadership and case work supervision, modelling best practice and promoting the highest professional standards.
- Take a lead in developing high quality social care practice/ occupational therapy practice and the professional development of staff and students across Adult Social Care and Health through specialist support and advice.
- Take responsibility for managing a small caseload of some of the more complex cases.
Requirements of the Lead Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
