Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Inpatient Physiotherapist to work part-time or full-time based in Bishops Stortford.
The pay rate for this locum Inpatient Physiotherapist job is £25.00 - £26.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Provide highly specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals
- Take a lead role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients who may have diverse, chronic presentation and highly complex physical and psychological conditions; to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme that will contribute to safe discharges and prevention of hospital admissions
- Undertake the comprehensive specialist assessment of patients, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills and standardised assessments where applicable
- Assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and work within a legal framework with patients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment
Requirements of the Inpatient Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Previous NHS experience
