Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Information Management & Research Manager to fill a full-time position based in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The pay rate for this locum Information Management & Research Manager job is to be confirmed with the client and is an initial 3-month contract.

Job Purpose - Information Management & Research Manager:

Development, coordination and implementation of innovative and integrated information, benchmarking systems and performance monitoring processes and procedures that:

  • Highlight performance against plan, opportunities for development and service delivery improvement.
  • Identify quality standards and aid self-evaluation.
  • Report achievement and celebrate success.
  • To manage, direct and develop the Children, Young People and Families (CYPFS) Directorate Research and Statistical function to monitor all aspects of service delivery, report on performance and achievement, identify priorities, inform service development and comply with statutory obligations.
  • To ensure the council meets its objectives in relation to the delivery of key improvement and transformation programmes including the Troubled Families Programme.

Duties:

  • Establishes a Management Reporting & Control Framework that identifies directorate performance, current and planned, across a range of criteria, key performance indicators and critical success factors
  • Support the development of data sharing/case management systems that collect the relevant data and information relating to Early Help, Priority Families and potential Priority Families ensuring all data protection principles are fully maintained.
  • Ensure team members have clarity of role and purpose and understand the legislative environment in which they operate. Demonstrate visible commitment to the Troubled Families programme and achieving 100% of targeted families turned around in line with the Troubled families Outcome Plan and the annual staged payment targets

Requirements:

  • Relevant Professional Qualification.
  • Ability to manage a team of professional staff to achieve stated objectives
  • Visible and effective leader modelling exemplary behaviour for staff in promoting a culture of seeking excellence in the quality of service provision and of valuing equality and diversity in all aspects of service delivery
  • Excellent understanding of research, analytical techniques, dissemination of information, and clear and concise reporting to a diverse range of audiences.
  • Substantial experience in the development and management of performance systems.
  • Experience in managing projects involving a high level of research and statistics.
  • 5 years' experience of work in the field of statistics and educational research. (Evidence of continued professional development in areas relevant to the context of the post).
  • Knowledge of quality systems and a commitment to developing the service, within a culture of change management.
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, interpersonal, influencing and advocacy skills.
