Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Fostering Agency Adviser to work full-time in Croydon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Fostering Adviser job is £400 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
To act as the fostering service agency adviser for a large fostering service
To provide necessary leadership to quality assure panel papers and in doing so drive through improvements with the service to ensure the panel receive evidence based reports of an improved quality
To advise at panel meetings offering the necessary statutory and practice guidance to members
To work with the service and panel to work together to improve outcomes for Croydons looked after children
Requirements of the Fostering Adviser:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current HCPC registration
Must have significant local authority fostering management experience
Can demonstrate skills to deliver change at a pace
