This permanent Deputy Hospital Director position (37.5 hours per week) offers you the opportunity to join an experienced specialist Learning Disability and Autism service located in Grimsby.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Deputy Hospital Director, you will leverage your experience as a Registered Nurse from the NHS and/or private sector to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will lead, manage, and influence both the clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver exceptional healthcare.

In addition to providing on-hand guidance in the apartments, you will deputise for the Hospital Director, attending internal and external meetings with key stakeholders.

The hospital is situated in Grimsby, close to the coastal town of Cleethorpes, and is commutable from Hull, Lincoln, Scunthorpe, and surrounding areas.

As a Deputy Hospital Director, You Will Be:

  • Providing strong and robust leadership in the hospital environment
  • Sharing responsibility for budgetary oversight with the Hospital Director
  • Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all service users, employees, and visitors
  • Ensuring the site is compliant with all regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Completing regulatory notifications
  • Handling Serious Untoward Incidents (SUIs) and investigations

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin
  • Experience working in a learning disabilities and autism setting
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment
  • A detailed understanding of statutory regulations
  • Ability to oversee and deliver site projects
