Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work based in Canvey Island in an Older Adults Team.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £23.74 - £24.13 per hour (Assignment rate) It is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
Assessment of Older Adults
Devising care plans, contingency plans and completing risk assessments
Administering depots
Visiting people at home, providing support, education and information to patients and their relatives/ carers.
Liaising with external agencies, safeguarding, social care etc
Attending MDT and presenting cases to colleagues.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
