Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Nurse (RGN) to work in North Somerset.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Nurse job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Duties:
- Provide telephone cover to make/receive calls from police officers and paramedics
- Provide telephone assessments to service users in crisis
- provides street triage attendance to offer front line assessments, guidance and support to Police/Ambulance
Requirements of the Community Nurse:
- RGN qualified
- NMC registered with valid live pin
- Mental health assessment skills
- Ability to conduct robust telephone assessments to individuals
- Knowledge of The Mental Health Act 1983
- Knowledge of S136
- Risk management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
