Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist/Care Coordinator to work full time within the Focused Support Team based in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist/Care Coordinator job is £25.00 - £27.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 4-month contract.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
- Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy / Multi-disciplinary Team services, holding responsibility for defined projects
- Regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placements
- Carry out MDT activities e.g. generic assessments and duty responsibilities
- Provides care and support for people whose needs require more long-term interventions
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist/Care Coordinator:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
