Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for a Commissioning Manager to work full-time with Disabled Children in the South West of England.
The pay rate for this locum Commissioning Manager job is £400 per day.
Purpose of the job:
This role reports into the Head of Commissioning, Children's Services, and the purpose of the role is to provide high level strategic leadership for disabled children across Children's Services in line with the priorities of the Children and Young People's plan.
The post holder will have a specific focus on two major projects in the first three months. These will involve recommissioning Learner Support Services and the design and review of short breaks and early help offer for disabled children. The role will also support the transformation of services for children with SEND and support the delivery of the Written Statement of Action following SEND inspection.
Requirements:
Experience working within a similar role.
Knowledge and understanding of the commissioning process and issues affecting children's social care.
