Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Children's Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Barry.

The pay rate for this locum Children's Occupational Therapist job is £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and negotiable depending on experience. The job has a 1-month ongoing contract.

Main Duties:

  • To assess hospital patients and patients' homes where there is a delayed transfer of care due to the current home being unsuitable for the patients to return to.
  • To carry out assessments on people who are registered with Homes4U and have an accessibility need.
  • To carry out property assessments to check suitability for people registered on the Homes4U scheme where there is a medical need 

Requirements of the Children's Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least two years of experience either pre or post qualification
